Writing things down - Because I don't want to forget
I went to the beach with two friends of mine. We were able to go to swim. The water was fresh. I could see the sunlight reflecting on the little dancing waves. I could see some fish1. It was very nice.
All three of us talked a lot, we chilled together. It was a great moment. I am grateful that I was able to live these small moments with my friends.
There are a lot of little important moments like that that I don't want to forget about. It's those moments that make a friendship. Those moments that make you remember how great was a period of your life.
But one thing I was really surprised about is how easily we forget about those moments. I read one of my old journals once, and I remembered events that were super important to me at the time, but that I completely forgot about today. And there was a LOT I forgot about.
I think that's why I write. I write to make people remember about thing that is very important to us. If I can help bringing back some event out of the forgotten, then I will do so.
Thank you for reading those words.
With a will to remember - Muliama
